The Empire™ SLX II brings an even sleeker shape to the Giro icon, with all-new flat knitted Synchwire upper combining the lowest weight paired with the highest levels of comfort and breathability. The unique knitted mesh construction builds the venting into the upper with durability reinforced by a thermally bonded TPU skin. 7 classically-positioned lace eyelets provide unmatched comfort and conformity, while power is delivered by an all-new forged carbon fiber outsole plate which improves the stiffness by 20Nm, all in a featherweight 195gm package. The Empire SLX II is simply the best iteration of the shoe that redefined laces.
